Who We Are.

Virdena (Virdena.com) is a brand owned and operated by Belvoro Group LLC, a limited liability company legally registered in the state of New Mexico, United States.

When Sales Tax Is Charged.

Because Belvoro Group LLC is registered in New Mexico, we are required to collect tax on orders shipped to addresses within the state of New Mexico. For all orders shipped to other U.S. states where we do not currently have a tax nexus, no sales tax will be charged at checkout.

Applicable Tax Rate.

New Mexico operates under a Gross Receipts Tax (GRT) system rather than a traditional sales tax. Unlike most states where tax is based on the buyer's shipping address, New Mexico's Gross Receipts Tax is tied to the seller's business location. Our registered business address is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the current combined GRT rate is 7.625% — reflecting the state base rate plus applicable county and city add-ons. This rate is set by the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department and is subject to change, typically each July. Any applicable tax will be clearly calculated and displayed at checkout before your order is placed.

Additional Notes

  • Virdena does not charge sales tax on orders shipped outside of New Mexico, unless we establish a tax nexus in additional states in the future.
  • Certain product categories may be exempt from Gross Receipts Tax under New Mexico state law. If an exemption applies to your order, it will be reflected automatically at checkout.
  • Tax amounts, where applicable, will always be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase — no surprises.
  • This policy applies to retail customers only.

We comply with current New Mexico tax laws and monitor legal requirements regularly. This policy may be updated if we establish nexus in other states, if our business structure changes, or if applicable tax laws are amended. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
